Ultravation^® T3^™ thermally enhanced germicidal UV lamps are specifically designed to address the issue of lamp efficiency under cold air conditions. T3^™ quartz sleeve UV lamp encasement typically achieves a 40% increase in disinfection power delivered to the target, using standard UV lamps (from Philips and other quality UV lamp manufacturers). Until now, this level of performance was achieved only with power hungry high output lamps or over-driven standard lamps (that dramatically shortens lamp life) - neither of which is a cost effective solution. T3 is available in Ultravation^® commercial and residential UV equipment.
